I am seeking all information regarding Sallie, the daughter of Josiah Hackett & Mary Booth. I believe that my 3G-grandmother was this same Sallie Hackett and I am trying to obtain any information that can prove a link to Josiah and Mary.
My Sally Hackett was born in Chenango Co., New York about April 11, 1811 and married Clinton Fish around 1835 and resided in or around Cincinnatus, Cortland Co., New York until her death in July, 1870.
She died in DeRuyter, Madison Co., New York and was buried there. Her headstone states she is Sarah, but all census records refer to her as Sally.
I thought that she might have been a daughter of one of Josiah's sons, Charles or Daniel, but no information exists currently that ties her to them.
I found a couple of references to Sallie on Ancestry.com asthe daughter of Josiah & Mary and wanted to find out where this information came from.
