Looking for information on the parents of John Angus Hackett (1868) who married Elizabeth Ann Greenwood (1868), (daughter of George Greenwood and Margaret Ann Winch Rolls). They divorced, and then he possibly married Elizabeth Wilkinson. There is also a good possibility that he passed away in British Columbia.
John & Elizabeth (Greenwood) Hackett had 2 children, Raymond (1892) and Eleanor (1896), and they were both born in Michigan. Elizabeth may have later married Charles N. Hackett, sometime between 1930 and 1934, but it appears they were not married when she passed away in 1942, as the spouse listed on her Death Certificate was John.
Also interested in if John & Elizabeth Wilkinson had any children.
On the Death Certificate I received for John Angus Hackett from Vancouver, British Columbia, his mother's maiden name was Cameron, and it lists he was born in Ontario.
John & Elizabeth (Greenwood) Hackett's daughter may also be listed as A. Eleanor Hackett. It appears she married in Canada, and her married name was Bruce. She would have passed away in 1925. I know of a daughter Dorothy from this union (who was living with Elizabeth Greenwood Hackett in Port Huron MI for the 1930 Census), but there may have been more children from the union.
In 1900, John & Elizabeth (Greenwood) Hackett were living in Port Huron Michigan with Raymond and Eleanor. It appears they were living in Alberta in May 1917 when Elizabeth's Mom passed away. Elizabeth is listed living in Port Huron MI in 1930 and she is listed as Divorced.
