You're in luck because you have a lot of cousins. William was son number nine of ten boys born to Pierce Peter and Mary (Edwards) Hackett. My ancestor is Richard, who was the eighth son. The boys were all born in England and Wales and they came to America via New Orleans in two groups in 1850 and 1851.
Also, Ida was William's first wife. I suspect that she died from complications of childbirth because an infant child died April 8th and Ida died April 10th of 1882.
His second wife was May Belle Hendrickson. They had five more children; four of whom lived to adulthood. May Belle died in 1943.
