Hi David,
I agree entirely with you re the dangers of posting data on free forums - I also try to avoid doing so and prefer to make contacts privately. I should therefore like to correspond with you privately, if you don't mind. While the Hackett surname is a marriage off-shoot from my main research interests, I am trying to establish confirmation that the people I have traced are indeed the correct family. I shall try to email you privately later today.
