I am searching for information re. my paternal grandparents Hagedorn above. They immigrated from the Mecklenburg-Schwerin/Rostock area of Germany in late 1880's, port of entry probably New York-settled in upstate New York, then northern Pennsylvania, then Philadelphia. They had eight children: Anna, Mame, Augusta, Frederick, Raymond, Christian, Hervey, and Ivan, my father. Any information would be appreciated.
