My grandmother was Josephine Hamby Shook. She was the daughter of Calvin and Matilda Lipford Hamby. Calvin was the son of Thomas and Mary Hutson Hamby. I have quite a few of my grandmother's old pictures. We seem to think that most of the people in the pictures are my grandmothers kinfolk. I think some of the names associated with some of the pictures are possibly Rainbolt,Lipford and Crowe (not sure about the latter name). A lot of the photos are late 1900's maybe earlier. If you would like to have copies, please let me know your connection to these families. I believe they were taken mostly in Wilkes Co. and maybe some in Watauga. They are all great pictures, but I would like to know who some of these people are. Pamela Shook Kolbe
