Hi Lainey,
We probably don't have a connection. I received information the other day from a person unknown to me, that William Hanwell married an Ann Gillet on 18 Sep 1779 at St. Kenelm's Church, Lovell, Oxon. I do not have any proof to back up this information however. If using the marriage date of 1779, that would mean that your Sarah would have been born 3 years before their marriage. Sometimes all of the dates are not exactly correct, so I would have to say no connection at this time, but will keep the possibility open. Thank you for your response. Barbara Pierson
