My father Richard Everet Hargus is from Fabens Tx. He once told me he had a cousin George in Fabens. Unfortunately thats about all I know. I have just begun researching my family. The only other thing I know is that my grandfather was Van D. Hargus, he was born in Arapaho, Ok. around 1883. I know he was living in Fabens, Tx.in the 1920s and was a texas ranger in 1925 and 1926 He was also adeputy sheriff there too. If you have any info. that may fit in, please let me know. thanks.
