Hi Eirianedd. Thanks for responding to my post. I am slow at getting back to you and I apologize. Do you know much about your Mothers family? If not, perhaps I can answer some questions for you. Your great-grandmother, Mamie 'Williams' d'Orsay, was a sister of my Mother, Minnie 'Williams' Wood. Clarence Omar (Bud) was my first cousin. We were very close when we were children. I had not see him for many years before he passed on. I have never been as close to Gene as to Buddy. Buddy and I were the same age and Gene is some older - and quieter. Buddy and I were the "rousty" ones when we were children, geting into things that we were not supposed to be into - according to our parents!
Aunt Mamie and Uncle Joe were traveling a lot and the children stayed with our family and with Grandma Williams during the summer months. It was one of those summers that I learned to swiim - due to Buddy and my own brothers throwing me into the pond. It was SWIM OR ELSE!
There are other things I could tell you about Buddy, things that were funny. But, I will wait and see if there are questions you would like answered.....Marge at: firstname.lastname@example.org
