Actually, I wonder if HARRIGAR/HARRIGER/HARRIGAN are variants of HOURICAN, a surname found in County Longford and Cavan,Ireland. I have been unable to find this surname on any of the sites but HOURICAN was my paternal grandmother's name and there are a good number of them in the counties mentioned above.
