My father, who died over 40 years ago, said that our family originated in Longford. Over the years I have never seen any information about Harrigans from Longford. I do remember that according to an Aunt of mine, she had heard when she was young that our family name was most probably Hourigan or O'Hourigan. Pretty close to Hourican! Do you have any other info?
