Interested in info on the Harrigan family located in the Tarmon West Parish of Kilkee, County Clare, Ireland. Michael Harrigan was born there in about 1845 and moved to either Clark or Champaign County, Ohio (he actually lived on County Line Road in Bowlusville) between Urbana and Springfield. He was married to Bridget Welch in Springfield, Ohio in 1873 and after her death married Sarah Lawless. Children with Bridget included Thomas Augustus, Mary and John Joseph. Child with Sarah was Margaret.
No doubt that Michael had siblings, one was in Ohio with him and returned to Ireland when he lost a leg in an accident working on the railroad (sounds like a song).
