I see this is an old posting, maybe you've had some input... I hope. I hope you're still out there to respond to me!

I have a Michael Harrigan I pinned b. 1839 Kilkee,Clare,Ire who settled at Hardin Co., OH. He had two brothers, Patrick and Daniel who settled in Champaign. He appears to be the son of Patrick Harrigan & Bridget Casey. Michael married Margaret Daley 1866 Champaign Co., OH.

The reason I'm most interested in your posting is that I have an actual photo of a "Harrigan" with one leg. He's in my album of unknown Harrigan's. I'd been told by a distant cousin that a Harrigan brother lost his leg on the Railroad and returned to Ireland. The photography studio background is IDENTICAL to a photo I have labeled "Michael Harrigan" on the back.
