I am researching Edward Teague Harrigan as well. He is my great-great-great-great grandfather through his son Edward (born 1801).

The only thing I have that you didn't say was that he was granted land (30 acres) in Launceston, Van Diemans Land (Tasmania) on 30/06/1823. It had to be taken up within 5 years. One of the boundaries was the Tamar River and another was Simpson's Farm. My mother has a copy of the land grant if you are interested.

We have heaps of information on Mary Wade but very little on Teague. My understanding was that he was born in County Cork, Ireland and went to England to work. He was sentenced at Bristol and sometimes that is shown as his birthplace.

I'd be happy to hear from you. We live in Newcastle, Australia. Most of the Harrigans in our family are from the Wollongong area.

Regards
