While researching my McGee family, I came across two Harrigans, John and Michael, living with two families of McGees in Switzerland County, Indiana in 1850. John Harrigan was age 9, born in NY. Michael was age 12, born in Ireland. Does anyone know about these two? I am assuming they were orphans, but there is no indication in my records they were McGee relatives. On the other hand, if they were relatives, that would open up new avenues of inquiry for me! The McGees were from Ulster, moving to America @ 1750.
