Jane, After receiving your note, I looked up in a little booklet my uncle had written about the Hartons. It did not mention the other Thomas. Anyway, when I could not find any records in Warren Co., I jumped to Va. and found many Woods and Wood. There are only two families that might fit. They are Michael Wood or David Wood, both of Albemarle Co., Va. I don't know how I came up with Hanover Co. because I can't find all my notes. In checking records about Hartons, and found the spelling "Hartien", it looked like French to me so I hit France, and Bavaria popped up, then the name Emich Viii, Count Leiningen Harten appeared. Whether there is any connection, I just don't know. Anyway, I will continue to check out the Wood family, is it possible that it has a s at the end? There are quite a few Woods listed. As soon as I find anything out I will certainly let you know. After hearing from you, I don't know how much of my uncle's information is correct, so I would appreciate any help you could give me. Thanks a lot, Marilyn
