Hi Stan,

Just a little more info:
John Haseltine, after living a few years in Bradford, crossed the Merrimack River and lived in Haverhill, Mass. There he died. His place in Bradford, which included the westerly half of the village, became the property of his son Samuel who lived there until his death. Robert Haseltine and William Wilde settled near John, on meadow land owned jointly by the brothers and became known as "Hasseltine's Meadows". This area was originally called Merrimack and sometime later changed to Bradford, after a town in the old country where some of the settlers came. At the first meeting of the Merrimack people in 1668, Robt. was chosen one of the selectmen.

Thought you might get a kick out of that.

Cuz,
LeVon
