Darius,

I only have info on some "caucasian" Hawthorn families for the 1800's in the Conecuh area for the time period of 1818-1850's. I will try to get as much information as I can muster for the African-American Hawthorne's as I can. It is a big task! If you can help me please let me know.

Remember, even in the U.S. Census of 1860 they did not list first names of African-Americans, so it's very hard to find out these good people. Please let me know if you find anything out!!!
