Can you identify the man found at the following url?

http://strike9.com/file.ashx?path=/MikeD/First+Patient+7.jpg

I am a writer researching a brain surgery undertaken in the late 1930’s and am trying to identify this man. I believe that he was the first person to ever undergo this particular surgery. He survived the surgery but, sadly, passed away years ago. I would very much like to find some surviving family members who might be willing to provide a little biographical data about him.

I have a few clues and hope that someone might recognize him.

His last name was Healey
This photo was taken in 1937
He was 43 years old at the time, which would make his date of birth around 1894.
He passed away approximately 2 ½ years after this photo was taken, around 1939.
He likely lived in the Baltimore Maryland area, or somewhere in Maryland, but certainly could be from elsewhere.
He was a patient at Johns Hopkins hospital in Baltimore in March of 1937.

If you may have any idea who this person is, or are perhaps even related to him, please contact me. It took a bit of courage to volunteer for brain surgery in 1937 and I would very much like to document this man’s contribution. If you have any information please contact me at mdallas@myway.com
