Hi, I myself am having a Heley family mystery and have encountered the same issues as you mentioned above while trying to find some of my relatives.

My last name is Heley, Pronounced "Heal - Eee" (the same as the name you posted about) and I just wanted to give you a heads up... people have been spelling my name wrong my whole life!
They always throw an A in or add an extra e... I just wanted to let you know that you can try searching with "soundex" which is basically a way to search for a name when it is commonly mispelled.
Thats what I have to do as I have searched online for a long time and have never easily come across anyone with the same spelling for my last name.
Try searching Heley, Heely, Heeley even McHeeley, McHeley and Mcheely (as the name is originally Irish, a lot of people just dropped the "Mc")

Anyways, good luck with your search, I know how frustrating this can get!

Jenn Heley
