I came across this forum and was interested in the topic. Does this apply for all the Hedley Geneology including those with British Roots.
My great Grandfather Thomas William Hedley was British and worked in the Navy and apparently settled in Malta (where we live today) and had a son calleed after him Thomas william hedley which happens to be my grand father. Both my father and my brother kept the family tradition and are both called Thomas William Hedley.
My grand father died in 1981 I think.
