I did an internet search of the Fargo Forum and found part of the obituary for Martha Heier. Here is what was listed:
Martha Heier was born May 24, 1916 near Alfred, ND. At age 7 she moved with her family near Windsor, ND where she grew up and attended school. On June 15, 1938 she married Sam Suko near Alfred. In 1938 they began farming near Cleveland, ND. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Kenneth (Sandy), Las Cruces, NM, Rodney (Charlotte), Cleveland; two daughters, Verna (Orville) Fischer, Madison, WI, Debra (Richard) Gutschmidt, Edgeley, ND; two brothers, Jake, Gackle, ND, Emil, Jamestown, ND, three sisters, Esther Marker, Montpelier, ND, Mary Spangler, Leona Squires, both Eugene, OR, 8 grandchildren..."
obituary was listed in the Fargo Forum Final Edition c3 of October 13, 1999
Another obit from December 25, 1999 was found for Jake Suko's wife, Lenora. It stated that she died in MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, ND, that she was born Lenora Bitz Oct. 16, 1927 in Jamestown. She married Jake Suko June 29, 1947, in Jamestown, where they lived. She was survived by her husband; two sons, Keith, Menoken, ND., Jake, Aurora, CO; a daughter Claudia Flohr, Highlands Ranch, CO and 2 grandchildren.
This particular index ended with April 2000. I believe I have seen an obituary for Jake Suko since then.
