I am also researching the Hendons of Tennessee, with out a lot of luck. My grandmother Sarah Jane Hendon Weatley b in 1838 in TN. She was my G grandmother. There was Hendons in Stewart Co Tn. There is a Sarah Jane but much to old to be my Sarah Jane Hendon. Just might give you some leads.
Where in Franklin Co was Rachel Born? I believe that she had a brother Gergoe that went to Northen AR with her family
between 1865 and 1870. I knew a Preston Hendon that was retelated some way.I have Info on Sarah Janes family if I can help. Verlee
