There is a marriage listing for John C. Hendon and Dicy Cox, 2 Feb 1888, Marion, Alabama. I also find them in De Leon, Comanche, TX on the 1900 TX census. Dicy was born 1842 in Georgia and they had been married 12 years in 1900. Can anyone tell me anything about this couple? My interest is in finding Dicy Cox who I believe to belong to the John and Mary Cox family. She was born about 1841 in Georgia and was still unmarried in the 1880 GA census. 1888 would be right for a second marriage for John Hendon.
Can anyone help me with this family?
