Edwin appears to be the son of Benj. Hendon who m. a Martha Cobb, who I believe is the sister of Exum. Exum was listed in 1880 in Sumter Co, AL with Edwin C and listed as his uncle. I believe that this Exum never married or had children. Does anyone know anything more about this family?
