I don't know if anyone ever follows up on some of the queries and messages posted on the forums. I have come across this old message posted by a user from the year 2000:
"William David Hendon was my husband's grandfather. b. February 01, 1868 d. July 16, 1955 in Border, Texas. His 2nd wife was Sarah Luella Bryant (Sally) b. January 01, 1871 in Montgomary, AL. d. January 14, 1934.
They are buried in the Oakdale Cemetery in Erath County, TX."
I would like to make a correction to this information if I may. There is so much mis-information on the web these days and if anyone is looking for Sarah Louella Bryant who married William David Hendon in Alabama they will never find her from the information provided in this post.
Sarah "Sallie" Louella Bryant was the daughter of William Thomas Bryant and Susannah Keller. She was born January 1, 1871 in Cleburne County Alabama. William D. Hendon and Sarah Louella Bryant were married in Cleburne Co. Alabama on December 1, 1892. Marriage record on file at the Office of the Probate Judge in Heflin, Cleburne Co. Alabama.
Sarah Bryant age 9 can be found in the 1880 census in Cleburne County Alabama in the home of her parents listed as Thomas Bryant, wife Sousan.
