I don't know if this will help you but maybe able to get a lead somehow. Go to www.usgenweb.com > click on Georgia >
Oglethorpe Co. > Oglethorpe County Families > Researcher's Websites > The Hendon Archives.
I looked through it briefly and saw some Benjamin Norris Hendons but none with the dates you give. There was one who married an Alley but they were born around 1800.
Anyway some of Josias & Hannah Robinson Hendon (1700's Eng. & VA.) descendants settled in Mississippi.
