I am trying to find the parents of John A. Hendon, born abt 1814 in Georgia, and died aft 1880 in Alabama. He married Anna or Amy Baker on Dec 14, 1846 and they had at least 7 children:

Malachi Hendon 1850
Meredith L. Hendon 1852
Eliza W. Hendon 1854
Sarah Elizabeth Hendon 1857
Lucinda Frances Hendon 1860 – 1934
Isham Hendon 1862
John F. Hendon 1864

On the 1880 Census, he lists his father's birthplace as North Carolina and his mother's as Alabama. Considering that John was born in GA, his father was born in NC, and one of his son's names is Isham, could he be a descendant of Isham and Keziah Johnson Hendon?
