Higdon (1824-1884) and his parents (John B. Higdon and Nancy Moses)? Which census did you find them in? etc. I'll check it out and let you know. I know that Blackburn Higdon (married to Caroline, etc) had a son named Decatur Higdon, but his age was too close to our James Blackburn Higdon's age, so that would eliminate him as a potential father... That is why, and other reasons, that I think that this Blackburn Higdon was the uncle of our James Blackburn Higdon and that Decatur Higdon was his brother..... Thanks for your hellp...
