Hi James, I am not sure if you will remember me or not. I was asking you a while back about your Higdons. My aunt was named Ernestine Higdon Jernigan. Well, I was just looking again on genealogy forum and your message mentioned an Irene Thompson. I don't remember if I told you or not, but my Grandmother Ella Mccall was a Thompson. Her mother was Elizabeth Thompson Mccall Malone. Elizabeth's mother was Rebecca Gibson Thompson and her father was Loften or Lofton Thompson. I believe Rebecca was b. in Al and that Lofton was born in Santa Rosa County Fl. Or at least that is where they ended up.Loften Thompson was in the military in La during the civil was and that is how I believe my Mccalls may have met at first. I am just not sure, but at least now I believe that could be where my Higdon comes from is the Thompson. Thanks for posting the info. Jenny Blackburn
