HIGDONS in Warren County, MS, early 1800s

I've been looking through the posts here for any information about my Higdon connections; specifically, Mary Dean Calvit Higdon and Daniel Higdon, their son Jeptha, grandson Daniel, and finally Daniel's daughter Cynthia (or Cinthia) Higdon McKinney, who is DEFINITELY my great-great-grandmother. I saw that my cousin Emy Roider posted here a while back, and read through a lot of posts, but suddenly realized I have a tiny bit of Higdon history which I found purely by chance.

I had assumed (NEVER do that!) that all of my Higdon relatives were from down in Franklin County, MS, but accidentally found a list of Higdons buried here in Warren County! I'm not convinced these folks are related, and the dates are a bit wonky, but dang, there's that name Jeptha/Jepthy. Tantalizing!

(For the geographically challenged who may not have a map handy, Warren County is Vicksburg, and south of here are Claiborne Co/Port Gibson, Jefferson County/Fayette, and then Franklin Co/Meadville, and Adams Co/Natchez.)

I have no idea how these Higdons got up this way, but they seem to have settled in the southern part of the county, out toward the Big Black River area and Campbell Swamp. I need to make a trek to the Courthouse here and look at those probate records and see if I can find any deeds, etc.

Anyhow, here's a brief summary of what I found and the sources:

WARREN COUNTY

HIGDON GRAVES, BETHEL (REDBONE) METHODIST CHURCH - Cemetery founded 1814, south of Vicksburg off Highway 61 S on county road that begins at Hearn's Store. (The church is unfortunately no longer there - it burned back in the 20's, along with records.)

This information is from "Warren County Cemeteries" by Marlene Rutoland Brooks.

GRAVES (with headstones):

Jeptha Higdon - August 8 1803 - October 14, 1846

John Jeptha Higdon - February 9, 1846 - April 30, 1847

Elizabeth A. Higdon - February 27, 1839 - August 12, 1849

Lucy Higdon, Wife of J. S. Acuff - February 27, 1813 - April 10, 1849

John J. Higdon - September 15, 1812 - April 30, 1858

Letitia Higdon - Died March 25, 1836

And in the Duff. G. Hankinson lot, with with no marker: Rebecca Jane Higdon

Nancy Higdon m. Joseph S. Acuff, 2/10/1848

And from the 1840 CENSUS, listed in Warren County I found:
