Your grandfather had at least 10 siblings. Robert Abell, his father had a first wife, Louellen Mitchell, who died and they had 6 children; Joseph Pius, Anna Malvina, John Thomas, Manuel James, Robert Orlando and Wirt Johnson. He and your ggrandmother, Emma Winstead had 5 children; Tyler, Earl Winstead, Catherine, R.A. and William. I don't know if any of them went to Florida or not. It is interesting that you say Tyler's middle name was McAtee because in an old city directory for Owensboro that I found in the library at Owensboro, Daviess County, there is a listing for Robert Abell. It lists his occupation as a painter and a drygoods clerk for a store called McAtee, Lyddane & Ray.
