According to "Descendents of John Higdon and Millicent 1657-1998" by Gena Theiss,

Ignatius HIGDON was born in 1773 in Montgomery Co., MD and died 3 Dec 11846 in Grayson Co., KY. He married Mildred Elizabeth DYSON on 4 Jan 1806 in MD.

The children of Ignatius HIGDON and Mildred DYSON are:
       Samuel Charles
       Matilda
       Elizabeth
       John Thomas
       Bennett Augustine
       Julia Anne
       Harriet
       Nancy Ann
       James
       Mary Ann
       Francis H.
       James Ignatius “Nace”

So this indicates that Samuel, John Thomas, Bennet Augustine, and "Nace" were brothers.

Also, in "Grayson Co., KY Cemeteries Vol III", Samuel C. Higdon(s/o Ignatius & Millie Higdon, b. 1809, d. 1884), Millie E. HIGDON (b. 18 Sep 1789, d. 1 Nov 1854)and Bennett HIGDON (s/o John T. & Elizabeth A. HIGDON, b. 7 Feb 1842, d. ?) are buried in St. Benedict Cemetery, near Wax, KY in Grayson Co., KY but very near Hart Co., KY.
