Thanks for quick response. Your answer is what I really suspected but never really saw it in print. My HIGDON line (as best as I can determine) begins with John I from St. Mary's/Charles Counties, MD., then through William, Ignatius I, Ignatius II, Samuel Charles, Thomas Electius, James Hillman, and Russell Charles (my dad). If you have better information, I am all ears as the saying goes. I look forward to your furture posts.
