I was at one time married into the Higdon family.My ex-husband(Daryle Higdon)had some family members who were musically inclined.He was himself,a professional musician along time ago.He played with the top names of country music.He, also while still a teenager, traveled with the famous Pee-Wee King.While he traveled with the band he apparentally did his school studies while on the road.I was told that he had special permission from the school to do this.Although I have not been a part of the Higdon clan for over 19 years,I still feel a sense a pride for the Higdon family...maybe because my children and grandchildren are all Higdons.My former father-in-law was a very good man.He was Joseph Paul Higdon from Grayson County,Ky.I believe he was born in or around Peonie,Ky. Anyone,who may have info.on the Higdon-Skaggs families,please let me know.thanks,sandie preston.
