I am curious if all the higdons are somehow all related, anyone know? The higdon side of me comes from my moms side of the family. My mom is Johnette Higdon married to Edwin Addy, my grandfather is John Higdon married to Joyce (surname unknown). My grandpa says he and we have black foot (i believe thats what it is) native american in us and that native american he says is based out of Oklahoma. I believe he is from TN, because recently his grandniece tracked us down in Tucson, AZ. She works for the government her name was Nancy. My mom is my grandpas only daughter he does however have stepchildren, Tomas Quilen and Bonnie Quilen. Just thought I would tell my side of the higdon family.
