Janet,we do not know much about this family. There is info on Higdon Family on Gen. Forum #568 dated 12-30-2001. We know for a fact the first wife of Decatur (Decator) was Emily Lane which was shared by Danny Higdon. We have him born in Alabama but no documentation. We have tried for years to find descendants of this family. His wife Theodoshia Dempsey is my great aunt. If you read more of my postings you will find names of their daughter and granddaughters but that is all we have.
