Before leaving for Air Corps service during WWII, I knew
several Hilton relatives. They were descended from my great grandfather, Larkin Merrit Hilton. The matriarch was my Aunt Lydia (whom we called "Lydie". They lived near South Side High School. She had a son who was an optometrist in Memphis. One of the then-young generation was a naval WAVE officer. If anyone is familiar with this HIlton family, please give me a contact, preferably e-mail. I have researched the Hilton family three generations back and would be happy to turn my findings over to them. Jim Wilson,
