I need some help with a William Hilton that was married to Margaret lnu. If my memory is correct he was in the service for about eight years and had a good rank. A Margaret filed for a pension and Daniel Hilton was awarded 2,560 acres of land in Grices Creek TN. Somewhere between Nashville TN and Fort Cambell. The land grant was given in 1783 for a time frame.
If anyone has more information on this William I would appreciate the help with it.
