my grandfather John Hilton, was born Jan 17, 1879 in San Francisco, Ca, his parents were Henry Hilton and Maude Barrett, a canadian I believe. he studied mining engineer and worked in Mexico at a big mine, and in Nevada City, Nev, where he built a mill for a mine there. He married and had 6 children, my father was his third child, and I have an aunt Elizabeth also. He died in Mexico Sept. 28, 1944. He had two sisters Maude and Ruth married Clarence P Nicholson and moved to Linwood, Ohio, and a brother, Dr. Harry, also in San Francisco.
