I'm looking for info. about my Great Grand Father Henry or Harry Hinkel. The family story is he and his brother, William, owned/operated a Baby or Children's Shoe manufacturing business in the Pottsville, PA area sometime in the late 1800s. The business failed or was simply closed down. Henry moved to Philadelphia where he became friends with Stetson of hat fame, was involved in the Masons (Stetson and he were in the same lodge), and was a fairly well know band leader. He met and married a Molly (Brigit) Malloy from County Cork, Ireland, who was a new cook for Stetson. They had several children: William Euish July 3, 1897; John; Marie (married a Owens); Katherine (married a Livermore). I would appreciate any info. or leads. Thanks Hinkle Clan.
