Gaye,

I did some _very_ rough math. My father was born in 1914, thirty years after his father, Thomas Hoban (1884-1966). If we use thirty years as a generation gap (and yes, many times this is too large a figure), then his father, David Hoban should have born circa 1854. A generation prior should have been 1824, and there is zero information about that layer. James Hoban's son should have been born circa 1794, and James Hoban was born 1762 (only two years off the 30 year gap "guestimate").

I guess I'm searching for the children of James and the next layer for connections. Do you have anything of those layers...
