I am looking for the descendants and ancestors of Heinrick Hoffmier and Sophea Wolfe Rhode. There were three children born to this union:
William Hoffmier
Caroline (Lena) Hoffmier
Henry Fredick "Fred" Hoffmier b. November 23, 1877
My Grandfather, Henry H. Rhode was brought to Iowa from Germany after the death of his father Henry H Rhode/Rohde in in the Franco-Prussian war. My GGrandmother was remarried to Heinrick Hoffmier. Mr Hoffmier raised my GFather as his own, though he did not adopt him, to change his name.
Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated.
