Looking for confirmation of parents of Joseph Holden. I have 2 possible dates of Christening: 6 Dec. 1702 & about 1710 Saddleworth, Yorkshire. He married Helen Lawton 31 July 1735, Saddleworth. Possible parents are: John Holden & Susan Jackson, married 9 Jan 1693, Rochdale, Lancashire. John was Christened 4 Dec. 1669, Whitthead(Whitehead) Lancashire. I have Johns parents listed as: John Holden & Isabella Scott of Whitehead, Lancashire, married: 25 April 1669
Rochdale, Lancashire. Then I hit a wall. I show John's father listed one place as Jacob and another as James. Both show a son christened on 15 Feb. 1643, Deane Westhoughton, Lancashire.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
