John Payne Holland was born in Tennessee aroung 1831, his parents were Stephen Holland and wife Onah (last name unknown) trying to find out if Onah's last name was Payne since she named her son John Payne Holland. The family moved on to Arkansas and John Payne Holland died in Texas around 1900, his brothers wwere William G Holland 1841 TN -d.1924 AR, Thomas James Holland 1845 TN - d 1865 Arkansas. This is all the information I have except that is it known Onah was born in Virginia around 1806. Any help would be appreciated. payne.charli@yahoo.com
