The transition from the Julian to the Gregorian Calendar creates this illusion. The transition for Britain and her colonies took place in 1752. New Years day for the Julian calandar was 25 March (nine months before the birth of the Messiah). So from Sep 1620 to 24 Mar 1620 is correct. To distinguish between the two calendars, dates are frequently written Jan 1620/21. Notify Administrator about this message?
