My great grandfather Henry Hollenbeck came to this country in 1860 per the 1900 census.
By tradition (since he came to this country) it has been spelled Hollenbeck. On the census he put down at different times Hanover, Prussia and Germany as his originating country.
He married A. Adeheid Corves in St. Louis on October 15, 1861. That is the earliest record we have of him in St. Louis.
