I have found a Hollenback in my line. George W. HOLLENBACK. He married Clarinda T. Clark. The Kansas genweb site shows them in 1870.

This census listing would make my George W., aged 21 in 1870, born abt. 1849 same as your George.

Are they the same?

Note the census has George W. H. born in California, or at least his early years.
