Just saw your posting - here is what I have.
John Holtzinger born c. 1770 possibly in Lancaster or York Co. - died c. 1847 (parents as yet unknown) married Anna Barbara Wolf who was born about 1772 - don't know when she died. They had the following children:
Elizabeth - 11/27/1792-1852
Susanna/Susan - 1888
George - c. 1801 - November 1866
John - 6/10/1802 -
Jacob - 1804 - 1888
Mary - 1807 - 1869
Catharine - 1809 - 1894
Daniel - 1811- 1882
Benjamin - 1816- ?
Anna - ?
His son George (1801-1888) first married Elizabeth Heindel (1/18/1800- c. 1845) Children of this first marriage were:
Catharine (my greatgrandmother who married Solomon Garner)
Elizabeth
Rebecca
Mary
Susanna
After Elizabeth Heindel Holtzingers death, George married Susanna Stauffer - c. 1810 - 1871. Children of the second union were:
George Washington
David Stauffer
Sarah
John E.
I would be very interested on any informtion you have on Mary (born about 1838). I am stuck at this point and cannot go any farther back that John and Anna Barbara. Do you possibly have any clues?
