Cheryl and David: I am not going to be able to help you very much. I had corresponded with Joann Boadhead on this family. She shows that Sarah was born 10-9-1812 and d 9-5-1857. She married William Tollet Maxwell 9-28-1830.

Joann says that she found a family tree listed with Thomas Horton listed as the father of Sarah, and Agnes Kennebrew as her mother. She told me that Sarah and William had 15 children and they were: Malinda Maxwell b. 1831 m. James Monroe Cason; Singleton Allen Maxwell b 1832 m Mary Mildred Maxwell; John W Maxwell b1834 m Lucy Hannah Sandrage; Mary Anne Maxwell B 1836 m Cornelius Campbell; Jesse H Maxwell b 1839 m. Strother Gaines Brown; Jane Maxwell b 1841 m William Mack Dockens; Joel Elbert Maxwell b1842 and d 1862 in CW; Nancy M Maxwell b 1844 d 1859; Elizabeth Matilda Maxwell b 1847 m Malcom Alexander Duncan; Martha V Maxwell b 1849 m John Andrew Jefferson Moss... (this is Joann's line); Lucinda Davis Maxwell b 1851 m Wesley Calvin Colvard; Lettie Evalina Maxwell b 1853 m Jasper James Jordan; and James R Maxwell B 1855 d at birth, Hart County.

The last email address I had for Joann Broadhead was sl-joann@juno.com.

At this point I have no idea which family this Thomas belongs to. I will work on it and if I can untangle the line of Thomas' I will be happy to let you both know..

Good Luck! Thelma
